DONDORO by KAUGUMMI BOOKS
The book I've been working on for the past few months is finally printed. It reached my place this morning thanks to the great publisher Bartolomé Sanson. It shows series of photographs taken in collaboration with the japanese pupeteer Hoichi Okamoto. This book is dedicated to him, who sadly passed away this summer. It will be launched in Paris in the next weeks, I'll post more info soon.
Kaugummi books offered me to invite an artist to do a fanzine to go along with the first 100 copies of the book. I asked Sanghon Kim and he produced a beautiful 12 pages fanzine whose title is "Fragments".

Doppelganger
Doppelganger
Images of the Human Being
photographs from Demoniac Babble, Parking Lot Hydra, Hellga and Black Chalk series are shown in Doppelganger book, among other artists such as Phyllis Galembo, Nick van Woert, Maurizio Anzeri, Nick Cave...
Format : 240 pages, full color, hardcover
"Doppelganger presents current trends in capturing the visual identity of human beings. Each of its seven chapters explores a different creative approach: Embody, Dissolve, Appeal, Reshape, Perform, Deform, and Escape. The book is a compelling and entertaining collection of groundbreaking permutations of the outer human shell created with costumes and masks as well as photo-technical and artistic manipulation. While inventing, enhancing, obscuring, or altering identities, the images play with and often obliterate classical proportions and visual traditions. In doing so, they reveal further possibilities for what can be considered beautiful and fashionable."
